christmas eve

I went out to gem club with my friends again on 24th of December (Christmas eve). I took D40kit & sb600 flash gun only and fired over another 400s. Several glasses of whiskey, cigarettes house musics and girls made me little wild. I didn’t remember what I spoke, what I did, what I found some trouble. Drink, drank, drunk method is very used to in my life.

I went out some quick shooting with Hnin Myu at KanDawGyi today. Tha Khin Soe Gyi (Bagan Nat) joined together with us. I took some snap shots with overexposure setting on my D50+50mm to get Hight Key effect. We had poor time to spend in photography cause I had to go to my cousin sister’s funeral. I lost some mood to shoot because of funeral. Whatever, here is the one of the today results and I’ll upload more later. I have no time to edit all of these.

meet with the friends

I met with some friends from ygn & sg last night at Kaung Kaung BBQ shop. Local friends from mdy is not too much. me, soe gyi, thwe lay, hay marn, hnin myu. Special guests are ngu war from ugn & xyclonez & tommy girl from sg. Around 8:30pm, hay marn & thwe lay went out early before I took out my camera & shoot record. So sorry for their emptiness photos. I was little nervous & hallucinate while talking with them because of my empty liquor stomach. What a dram bad habit! I decided to cut that habit to extend my life.

Today morning, My daughter had to attend pre Christmas dance party at her kindergarten school. So I got up early and prepare for her dress. After that, I shoot some pictures with my old D50 combo with 50mm lens under the morning sun.

ThaKyaThiHa Pagoda exist on 86th street, mandalay. I visited there with my fotog friend on 2nd of december.

At that night, I went out to mote with my fotog friend from Rangoon. Spending early night with long shutter shots.

We didn’t get any good photo cause there was too much misty in the atmosphere that night.

My friend used his D 80 with 18-200 VR lens. I used D40 & his 18-135 lens and my 12-24 lens.

No electricity, no work. So I do some micro photos with my trusty D40 & old 50mm f1.2 in reverse position. Fill flash for tight aperture of f16 to get the large amount of depth of field. subjects are nothing. Some flowers & some little flies on rice.

18-200 VR

My photography friends from Rangoon arrived this morning to Mandalay. They have a lot of decent camera gears. How poor me?

I borrowed my friend’s new Nikon 18-200mm VR lens to take a snap shots to test with my small D40. Woow! Nice color rendition and good to handle. Its not the pro great lens but very useful for the walk around shooting & everyday shots. I love it.
